We are excited to announce that we completed the installation of solar panels at our Houston North location last year. This marks a significant step in reducing our environmental impact.
By transitioning to solar power, we can generate clean and renewable energy for our business operations, contributing to a lower carbon footprint and supporting green initiatives.
The solar system, developed by Texon Solar, covers a total area of 6,000 square feet and is expected to output almost 140,000 kWh per year. This should effectively cover the majority of the company’s energy needs for our Houston North location.
The system is projected to save more than 1 million gallons of gasoline, equate to the energy used by 90,000 lightbulbs switched to LED’s, support the growth of 400,000 tree seedlings over 10 years, and conserve 5,500 barrels of oil.
